Update

It has been a very long time since I have been on the blog site and the radio show itself. I have been having multiple problems with technology - my new laptop stopped working not long after the warranty ran out. Last year, I purchased another laptop but hardly used it because I was worried it would stop working. I turned it on and it went well. The next day I turned it on and it wouldn't work. 2 weeks ago, I put it in to the shop to be repaired and was told to come back in 4 weeks to pick it up.

To broadcast the show, I use the Spreaker application. I have had many problems with it and it hasn't always worked. It is suppose to be up and running well again, so I will be able to continue broadcasting as soon as I find something interesting. But I must WARN you, there may be a lot of background noises - I don't have a studio-like room, where I am able to block out any interferences.

There is a Dj studio on the Spreaker website, which we are all able to use. Unfortunately I have nothing to access the website with, so I haven't been able to broadcast anything for a while.

The Update:

In the coming weeks, I will be broadcasting various types of shows. One of the next 3 shows will have a new song, by an up and coming group from Tokyo. Their music genre is a mixture of folk, country and neo-roots.

So, keep an eye out for new artists and coming events. A new Missxstatic website has been created, it is currently occupied by a basic design but I am working on something bigger. If you get a chance, check it out!

Maxwell Powers

Half Human, Half Robot = Cyborg.

This is the world's first Cyborg Musician.

I recently spoke with Max last week, asking for full permissions to use his songs on our show, podcast, blogs and other sites.

It's not often when a musician communicates with a nobody, but That's the difference with Maxwell, he's half and half - he understands.

I am hoping to feature his work this week or next week - still working out how to use everything. But, stay tuned for more...

Free AirPlay for Unsigned Artists

The Missxstatic Show will begin adding music as part of a segment for the show. There are many artists receiving recognition, but there are also many who aren't - these artists are usually unsigned and need the promotion.

So, if you are an unsigned artist or would like to hear your song on our show, please contact us via the Request Forms for more details.

Only Accepting Music/Songs from the Artist who owns and holds permission for All of their work.

As the show begins today, there will not be any music or songs from unsigned artists. The only music on the show will be: background music, introductions and so on.

Event Listing: Newcastle NSW

On Sunday 4th December 2011 - from 10am - 2pm, the annual 'Toy Run' will be taking place.

Motorcyclists from around the Hunter Region and the state, ride to support less-fortunate children and families. Each motorcyclist purchases a toy (or more), and rides in the event. When the destination has been reached, the toys are placed by the stage and are then handed out by Santa - some children and their families are invited by charity organizations.

There are many market stalls set up, some with motorcycle apparel, others with assorted goods, clothing, jewelry and foods. There will also be light entertainment and an emcee for the day's proceedings.

The ride will begin at 10am, starting at Stockton Ferry and arriving by lunch time, in Newcastle's Foreshore.

Again, Santa will be there, so bring the family and check out the amazing bikes and much more...

Send Feedback Button

On the right side of the website, connected to the scrollbar - is the New Feedback Button. Unfortunately, it only works for the website itself.

It starts off with an image of the page you were just on, when you clicked the 'Send Feedback' button. I just moved onto the next part, which had the message box for the feedback. So, if you feedback has nothing to do with the website, do what I did - just leave it as it and click on the tick, it sends you to the next step/page - where you can type your message/feedback.

The 'Send Feedback' Button is Red with White Text, as pictured below:
